Wynns Archive Wynns Archive This programme is compiled mainly from 8mm film taken by Wynn's staff during the 1970s. Over 20 different moves and operations are featured.

Wynns Archive Moves include a convoy of six Scammell tractors each with a semi-trailer or flat-top trailer each carrying 4060 ton loads from Alexandra Docks, Newport to LLanwern.

Wynns Archive There is rare footage of two of Wynn's large tanker fleet dicharging into a ship at Newport Dock. At Galliwick Bay, Milford Haven the Van der Laan ship 'Maryke Irene' is beached and 'Trackway' laid for a 140 ton vessel, 140ft long and 16ft diameter, to be loaded onto two six line bogies. A 200 ton boring machine for the first Channel Tunnel is shown being delivered to the Dover site. Four Scammell Contractors and a Pacific tackle the 1:6 Buttrells Hill, Newport with a 207 ton stator.

Wynns Archive In 1977 Wynns moved one of the largest loads ever to be moved through the streets of London. A 119 tons Air Separation Unit measuring 99ft x 21ft x 21ft was moved from Cryoplants Ltd, Edmonton to the Royal Albert Dock. An Atkinson tractor unit and an AEC Matador are used to move a 20 ton concrete demonstration unit from the grounds of Nether Lypiatt Manor, Stroud, Glos.
