It is doubtful that any new 'working event' has managed to attract such a magnificent entry of rare tractors. Add to that superb weather, free draining soil, over 40 acres of workable ground and a large area of combinable crop and you have the perfect recipe for a great event.Working tractors included The Ivel, a Glasgow, 1925 Vickers, 1917 International Titan 10-20, 1916 International Mogul 8-16 and 1928 Garrett. More modern power units included a 1989 MB Trac and 1969 Deutz 4006A plus various Ford, Fordson, Massey Ferguson, David Brown and Leyland models. A 1959 Massey Ferguson 780S Combine, a Massey Harris 701 Baler and a 1945 Albion Binder were at work in the Harvesting Demonstration Area.
