The Sherwood Forest Vintage Ploughing Match 2003 Held on the 30th November 2003 in the shadow of Thoresby Colliery, Nottinghamshire, this event attracted 131 competitors from England, Scotland and Wales.

A wide range of motive power was on display ranging from a Bolens 850, with it's eleven year-old driver, through to a Fowler 4/44 crawler. Competitor experience ranged from a former 'National' winner to at least one on his first ever match.
