This video has been compiled from recordings made in 1986 and 1996 of a variety of Mercedes-Benz Unimogs at work around the UK. The video starts with a pair of Unimogs being put through their paces, on grassland banks, by Mercedes-Benz.The video then moves on to show Unimogs earning their keep with Clive Hughes,a South Wales builder and property developer, Welsh Water, GEC, SWEB, CEGB, Eastern Electricity, Southern Electric and London Underground. Having watched these machines at work it is easy to see why it was claimed that the Unimog was probably 'The world's most versatile vehicle'. Stereo sound. BBFC Exempt.
