 The 2005 National Vintage Tractor Road Run was organised by Geoff Dunn and the Ribble Valley Vintage Club.Over 400 tractors were assembled at Gisburn Action Market for the 37 mile drive around the Lancashire countryside. A cold wind and dark sky did not seem to affect the enthusiasm of the drivers or their passengers.  With winding roads, steep descents, long forest tracks, open fell, stretches of road that allowed for fast running and some steep climbs, this route had something for everyone.A varied choice of locations, and positively no soundtrack music, means you can appreciate the tractors to the full.
