On May 31st 1994, the Military Vehicle Trust booked the cross channel ferry Normandie to take preserved military vehicles to Caen for the D-Day 50th Anniversary. Vale Video had the privilege of being allowed on board. See and hear preserved military vehicles in convoy through the deserted streets of Portsmouth at 05.00 hours. See the Portsmouth car ferry terminal full of military vehicles. See vehicles streaming up loading ramps in Portsmouth and unloading in France. Vale Video was also given access to the camp near Arromanches. See and hear military vehicles in the mud, go aboard a DUKW as it puts to sea, and thrill to the sights and sounds of the greatest convoy of preserved military vehicles imaginable.
