Welcome to the world of Vintage Ploughing. This video is directed at all those aspiring 'vintage' ploughmen who long to do rather more at a ploughing match than simply change the colour of the ground behind them. Former British and All Wales 'high cut' ploughing champion, Douglas Read, is shown tutoring Jonathan Eddolls in the gentle art of Short-Board Trailed Vintage Ploughing. What to look for when buying a plough is also covered, for no ploughman can do good work with a plough that is only fit for scrap.
