Heart of Wales Run 2005 Over fifty vehicles assembled at the Perkins/Caterpillar Engine Plant at Shrewsbury for the two-day Heart of Wales Run. Light drizzle and the occasional heavy storm for the first few hours made for some unusual footage.

Vehicles are shown in low light with headlights `on' and spray coming off their wheels.

Sunday was clear and bright for the steep climb through the Llanberis Pass and the rest of the journey to Oswestry via Blaenau Festiniog and Bala.

AEC, Atkinson, Albion, Austin, Bedford, Commer, Dennis, Dodge, ERF, Foden, Ford Thames, Leyland, Seddon, Sentinal and Vulcan are all represented.
